Take the trip of a lifetime this June 7 – 22, 2014 and discover...

Macedonia & Greece
Hidden Fortunes

“The Perfect Buyer’s Market.” - The New York Times

“The best performing market of 2014” – Forbes

This June 7-22, Chris Mayer, the editor of Capital and Crisis and Mayer's Special Situations, and I are leading a unique and exclusive tour to Europe's Frontier Markets – Macedonia and Greece.  We are at an exciting time in these markets… that could be a chance to make once in a lifetime returns on rebounding economies.

You probably already know some of the people who made their fortunes finding opportunities like the ones I'm about to reveal to you.

Doug Casey, Jim Rogers, and Warren Buffet are a few names that come to mind.

And do I even need to tell you about how beautiful these countries are?

Macedonia is blessed with outstanding natural beauty… it's the cradle of culture… where civilizations first began, home to the greatest commander in human history – Alexander the Great - and birthplace of Mother Teresa. A unique blend of ancient and modern, Macedonia is a crossroads of civilizations offering a rich multicultural experience.

And… Greece is a place of legends. Currently one of the most popular destinations in the world with over 17 million visitors last year, Greece brings to mind black sand beaches, world-renowned sunsets, volcanoes, ancient ruins, delicious foods and wines, and exciting nightlife.

What’s In It For You?

I've led hundreds of tours.

At one point, I was leading eight real estate tours a year to opportunity hot spots like Ireland, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, China, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Australia, and New Zealand.

And I've been on many tours where investors have discovered opportunities that have doubled in just a few short months.

For instance, on a trip to Israel this past April we introduced our travelers to a drug and diagnostics company whose share price is up 120% as of this writing.

In 1997 when we started touring Nicaragua you could buy beachfront property for $6,000.

Today the numbers are crazy. Our early investors have made fortunes. It’s difficult to even find a beach lot for sale anymore! There's just too much demand. If you could buy the same $6,000 lot today (without any improvements), it would cost over $100,000.

That's why I'm so excited to tour Greece and Macedonia.

After every economic crisis, investors have a chance to get rich beyond their wildest dreams.

Not everyone will of course. But the few who get off the beaten path and look outside Wall Street will be handsomely rewarded.

On our tour you'll see first-hand the profit opportunities in Greece and Macedonia… and get the answers to pressing questions on everyone's mind.

Questions like…

Is it safe to invest in Macedonia?

Have Greek housing prices hit their lowest point?

How good are the stock opportunities? Will I really double my money in the next 12 months?

Can I buy property cheap enough to turn a sizeable yearly rental income?

Is Greece as good a place to retire as everyone says it is?

That's what we're on a mission to discover.

Let me show you what we've uncovered so far, and why we're so sure now is the right time to invest in Greece and Macedonia.

A Young America

Macedonia is on the verge of a boom. In fact, you might consider it a "young America" in many ways…

  • It's perfectly located to be a "hub" of sorts for European manufacturers.
  • International companies are flooding in…. Duferco of Switzerland, Johnson Controls of the U.S., and Deutsche Telecom.
  • The road and railway system is first world. Superior infrastructure makes it simple to access every place in Macedonia in less than three hours.
  • It's stable. Their GDP continues to grow with a low inflation rate of less than 2% on average for the past 10 years, plus sound fiscal policies.
  • And, Macedonia takes prides in its educated, highly-qualified and ethical workforce, available to foreign investors.

What is Macedonia Known For?

  • Food – Macedonia is part of a temperate, Sub-Mediterranean climate that produces excellent wines, one of a kind sheep and goat cheeses, and high quality fruits and vegetables.
  • Auto Parts – a number of companies use Macedonia to produce parts for buses, trucks, and locomotives.
  • Low cost IT support. Macedonia is bursting with a well-educated workforce, especially in the IT sector. It shows too. Macedonia's telecommunications system is first class and considered the best in the region.
  • Pharmaceuticals. Right now Macedonia supplies more than 30 countries with generic drugs. This is a sector you’ll want to keep an eye on. Investing in the right biotech company can turn a simple $100 investment into thousands… even tens of thousands of dollars

This is only a small sample of what we’re going to discover in Macedonia when we meet with our investment experts.

There's something happening in Greece almost no one knows about… and it could potentially triple your money over the next few years.

It could be better than the Asian Credit Crisis… that helped real estate investors turn a $30,000 investment into million dollar profits.

Many believe it could be better than the housing rebound we're experiencing right here in the United States… early investors are already sitting on 200% gains in Florida and other states.

But the window to take advantage of this opportunity is very small.

That's because economically speaking, Greece is already becoming a real “rags to riches” story…  government deficits are turning into surpluses, exports and tourism are soaring, and real GDP is turning the corner.

Hidden Opportunities for Rental Real Estate

My inside sources in Greece are telling me you can buy property in several premium waterfront locations for as little as half what they were charging just a few years ago.

I'm talking about a three-story property with a garden and pool, just 35 minutes from the center of Athens… selling as low as $250,000USD. These properties can bring in significant rental income.

In Mykonos the boom in the tourism industry has created a huge demand for villa rentals… yet the purchase prices are 30 - 50% cheaper than what they were in 2008.

According to the Bank of Greece, almost all cities in Greece are experiencing a decline in housing prices.

Changes in the economy have forced some homeowners to put their properties on the market in "fire-sales"...

On less touristy islands, you can buy property for as little as $60,000, which gets you relatively less in jet-setter cities like Mykonos.

The New York Times calls Greece, "The Perfect Buyers' Market," as prices are negotiable and "cash buyers are kings."

Turn $100,000 into $167,000 OVERNIGHT

What if there was a way to own luxury rental properties without worrying about tenants, without worrying about the right property management company, and without the stress of owning a rental?

And what if you could still earn 70%, 100%, even 300% or more on your money over the next few years?

Sounds unbelievable?

It's not.

Chris Mayer has recently discovered an incredible investment opportunity…

A public company trading on the London Stock Exchange that builds and sells luxury properties on some of the world's most coveted coastlines.

We’re going to meet them first hand in Greece...

Their properties are some of the best luxury resort projects in the world.

About 40% of their projects are in Greece: approximately 30% in Cyprus; 10% in Croatia…

And they are partnered with some of the most iconic names in the business – including Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Jumeirah, Four Seasons and many others. This company’s first resort, Amanzoe, opened in August 2012 to much acclaim and is already recognized as one of the best resorts in the Mediterranean.

But wait, that's not the best part…

Right now you can buy shares of this company for 59 cents on the dollar.

A lot of people still aren't sold on Greece's recovery yet… and that's why we have this rare opportunity to buy these shares at a discount.

But this window won't last. People are already warming up to the bargains Greece has to offer. That's just one of the reasons Greece had the best performing stock market of 2013 and this continues through today.

That's why I want to meet with the management personally in Greece… to discover if this opportunity is really as good as I think it is...

People like Miltos Kambourides who was a founding partner of Soros Real Estate Partners and has overseen financial transactions totaling more than US $6 billion.

We've cultivated contacts throughout Greece and Macedonia to show us the best deals… the best new developments… and the best buys for our money.

Let me show you...

Your Day-by-Day Itinerary

Sunday, June 08: Arrive in SKOPJE

We'll arrive in style at the birthplace of Mother Teresa... Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia…

Although almost totally destroyed by an earthquake in 1963, Skopje is a place where new meets old.

You'll instantly be drawn to a medieval fortress perched high on the city center… not far from the famous Stone Bridge over the river Vardar. It takes you directly to the Turkish Bazaar and is one of the best-preserved examples of urban Ottoman architecture in the Balkans.

Today Skopje is among Europe's most entertaining and eclectic small capital cities. An abundance of new and old statues, bridges and other structures define this ever-changing city.

And plenty survives from earlier times.

Wonders from the Ottoman and Byzantine eras include the 15th century Stone Bridge, the old Turkish Bazaar where you will find every shopping delight, the Sveti Spas Church with its ornate, hand-carved iconostasis, and the Kale Fortress – Skopje’s guardian since the 5th century.

Skopje’s bars, clubs and art galleries give it a modern vibe, making it a hotspot for visitors.

Upon arrival, our VIP escort will whisk us away to our hotel in the heart of downtown. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Skopje … you’re sure to enjoy this lively city for our two nights here.

After our check in, you'll have an afternoon to relax. Stroll through the downtown and see sights at your leisure. We’ll enjoy dinner as a group. (D).

Monday, June 09: Investment Meeting & Tour

Treasure in Macedonia

We'll begin the morning by meeting with local experts about Macedonian investments. But those aren't the only benefits to this popular destination. As a developing country the Macedonia government provides several incentives to investors. A number of international corporations have started operations there... and the climate is ripe for individual investors as well.

The government is subsidizing mortgages up to 70% to encourage investors to buy.

In the afternoon we'll explore the beauty and the history of Skopje by private tour.

We'll see the famous statue of Mother Teresa, the Stone Bride, the Church of Holy Salvation, the Fortress Kale, and the Monastery of St Pantelejmon.

We'll discover the first signs of the Renaissance…

We'll walk along the beautiful quay of the Macedonian river "Vardar," stroll the narrow streets of the Old Bazaar, hike the upper town and witness the 1,500-year old fortress and breathtaking panoramic views of Skopje.

We'll take in the magnificent church of St. Spas (Holy Salvation), which is famous for housing the remains of the great Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delcev (1872-1903); the Fortress Kale; a visit to the Church of St. Andreja in Matka, built in the 14th century.

And we'll finish the evening in style, enjoying a traditional restaurant with lively music and great company. (B,L,D).

Tuesday, June 10 – Krushevo – Overnight in Bitola

After a leisurely breakfast we'll head to the lovely mountain town of Krushevo.

This charming town is known for old houses, a famous uprising against the Ottoman Turks, and is the hometown of the Late Tose Proeski, once the most popular Macedonian singer of the Balkans.

Walk the old Krushevo's stairs that lead to the bazaar in the heart of the city. You'll be amazed by the small shops lined up side by side where you can still find silversmiths and coppersmiths that will remind you of a wonderful time in history for crafts.

See the old houses that are truly works of art, built in the late 18th and throughout the 19th century. Their appearance -- the facades and roofs, their whiteness combined with the bluish color of the stone walls, the gray reflection of roofs -- is breathtaking.

On our way we'll steal a few moments for a short visit to the ancient city of Stobi founded in the 3rd century BC.

Because of its location on the crossroads between the Aegean World and the Central Balkan, Stobi was an important military, strategic and economic cultural center at the time.

And we'll visit the city Prilep…. one of the oldest cities in Macedonia known for its tobacco and world famous marble. As you walk the town you can imagine what it would have been like to live in the medieval era, the ancient Ottoman architecture… the pieces of history, and cultural sights.

We'll have dinner and finish the night in one of the Republic of Macedonia's most lovely and enjoyable cities, Bitola…. tucked away in the Balkans, it's considered one of the last undiscovered wonders of Europe. The second largest city in the country, Bitola offers up one of the most unique atmospheres imaginable.

Visiting Bitola means stepping back into a very distinct nineteenth-century European atmosphere that seems to somehow still fill the city's streets. Here a traveler will encounter Ottoman architecture, an Old Bazaar, a Turkish Bath, several historic mosques, a Renaissance-era clock tower, and generally one of the most comfortable and appealing towns in the region. Our hotel for the next two nights is the Hotel Epinal. (B,D)

Wednesday, June 11 – Ohrid – Bitola

After breakfast, we’ll venture out and see Bitola… the Old Bazaar, the Clock Tower and the famous main street “Sirok Sokak”

And we’ll see the ancient Macedonian town of Heraclea Lyncetis, founded in 4th century BC.

We’ll enjoy lunch in a famous national restaurant… then continue to the gorgeous lake town of Ohrid for a special tour.

Lake Ohrid is one of the world's oldest and one of Europe's deepest lakes. It is over 300 million years old, and has over 200 endemic species not found on any other place on the planet, including the famous delicacy, Ohrid trout. Lake Ohrid is a natural tectonic lake in the southwestern part of Macedonia. The town of Ohrid, which rests by the lake, is the birthplace of the Cyrillic alphabet and Slavic literacy.

Tonight we enjoy live folk music so come prepared to eat, drink, and be merry before we head to Athens.

Thursday, June 12 – Cross the Border into Greece – Fly from Thessaloniki to Athens

Today we cross the border from Bitola, Macedonia into Greece and make our way to Thessaloniki for our flight to Athens.

We will be checking into The Athenian Callirhoe where you can enjoy the rooftop garden bar with a magnificent Acropolis and Lycabettus view. This lovely hotel is centrally located, just steps away from all the city's cultural highlights, attractions and commercial center. (B,D)

Friday, June 13 – Athens and our Investing in Greece Meeting

Discover Athens Most Profitable Investments

This morning's activities are all about investments and Grecian real estate…

The real estate industry in Greece is full of opportunities for investors! Property prices since 2008 have been reduced from 25%-50%; many are located in premium locations and beautiful islands. Interest in these properties has been rising the past two years due to foreign investors looking to buy properties to rent or sell in the future, as prices are predicted to go up again. The big opportunities are in the suburbs of Athens, which due to improvements in public transportation are reachable in less than 35 minutes from the center of Athens! We will enjoy lunch together at the hotel and then we'll leave the afternoon open for you to explore and enjoy Athens at your leisure.

Take this opportunity to explore Athens the way you’ve imagined it… get off the beaten path… explore, dream, discover. (B,L)

Saturday, June 14 – Athens

Savor the Best Wines in Greece

Today’s the day you’ve been waiting for. We’re in Athens, home of the first modern Olympic Games.

We’ll see the awesome Acropolis, the Parthenon and all the great landmarks like the Academy, the University, the Library, and the monument of the Unknown Soldier.

But we have something extra special planned...

After a morning of touring, we’re driving east to the Famous Attica vineyards.

We'll have a private tasting and a delicious dinner as we continue to talk about and explore real estate opportunities in the suburbs of Athens. (B,D)

Sunday, June 15 – Mykonos

Finding Money in Glamorous
Vacation Villas

The next two nights will be spent in Mykonos; the great glamour island of the Cyclades… the sun kissed Grecian isles of the Aegean Sea. We'll take a high-speed ferry from Athens to Mykonos, enjoying the warm sun and beautiful views of the sea.

Celebrities from all over the world flock to Mykonos for leisure and fun and many buy property here.

Investing in a property here is a great deal. Tourism in Greece continues to grow and become more profitable. Yet, since 2008 prices for villas have gone down. But demand for villa renting has increased dramatically; as a result investors buy these villas and rent them to rich tourists for an enormous amount of money. Mykonos is famous for its huge parties, picturesque white houses and beautiful beaches.

Here we will check into the spectacular Hotel Manoulas Mykonos Beach Resort. This resort with its traditional Cycladic architecture and magnificent views of Agios Loannis Bay and the sacred island of Delos will make for an incredible stay!  (B,D)

Monday, June 16 -- Mykonos

Today we'll meet with the experts and get the scoop on buying or renting property in Mykonos. There's a big demand in places like Mykonos for serviced villas. And it’s become easier and easier for foreigners to buy property in Greece. The paperwork is not only simpler, but also faster and cheaper than it was in 2008. You'll get all the details today. You can take a look at some real estate if you like or simply relax at the hotel. (B)

Tuesday, June 17 – Santorini

From Mykonos we'll spend two nights on the island famous all over the world for its sunsets.

Once again we will travel by high-speed ferry to these islands that are visited by thousands of tourists, especially those from Asia eager to capture the sunset. It’s also a world famous honeymoon destination.

You'll soon see why…

Perfect climate and sparkling waters, the black sand beaches, and gentle warm breezes… plus a perfect place for the aquatic adventurer who likes to fish or scuba dive.

And the main city of Thira is overlooking… almost hanging… on a cliff of the famous volcano!

These are just a few of the reasons Santorini rentals are in high demand year round. An investment here could pay off handsomely in as little as five years.

Here we will stay at Kallisti Thera Hotel, located in the heart of Fira Town, the charming capital of Santorini Island, just few minutes away from the stunning caldera rim, museums, galleries, fine restaurants, the shopping center and nightlife. (B, D)

Wednesday, June 18 – Santorini

Today we will enjoy a boat tour to the volcano and try the warm waters around it!

This afternoon, relax in Santorini or if interested, we will set up appointments to visit properties. (B)

Thursday, June 19 – Crete

The Birthplace of Zeus

From Santorini we'll take a speedboat to Crete for our final three nights.

The mythological birthplace of Zeus, Crete is the biggest island in Greece with an exquisite 1,000 kilometer-long coastline dotted with coves, bays and peninsulas, and soft, sandy beaches that line the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea.

It is famous not only for its touristic beauty but also for its agriculture. Crete produces local cheese, olive oil and wine as well as the local spirit "Raki." It is also home of the Minoan Civilization.

Knossos Palace is a ruin of this civilization famous for its vivid color art on the walls dating back 3,500 years!

At our seaside resort, Candia Park, we'll enjoy incredible views of Crete as we're waited on hand and foot. This unique waterfront location offers panoramic views of Mirabello Bay and the azure sea. (B,D)

Friday, June 20 – CRETE

Today we'll step into the Minoan palace of Knossos.

This is one of the great archaeological sites of the world, yet until Arthur Evans began excavating in 1900, little was known about the ancient people who inhabited it. Using every possible clue and remnant, Evans rebuilt large parts of the palace -- walls, floors, stairs, windows, and columns. Visitors must stay on a walkway, but you still get a good sense of the structure's labyrinthine nature. What you'll find are the remains of two major palaces, plus several restorations completed up to about 1250 B.C. This was not a palace in the modern sense, but a combination of a royal residence and the Minoans' chief religious/ceremonial center, as well as their administrative headquarters and royal workshops.

As for real estate, Crete is a special place and every area has something unique to offer. It has wonderful sea view villas as well as traditional houses in villages... well preserved throughout the years.

It is an island very much loved by all visitors… though hotel occupancy is minimal in Crete in summer.

Lunch today is full of local meze (light meal) specialties including wine from the famous local village Peza. (B,L,D)

Saturday, June 21 – Crete

Today is a full free day to enjoy this beautiful island, however if you would like us to set up any real estate appointments or any other activities just let us know. We will enjoy our farewell dinner as a group. (B,D)

Sunday, June 22 – Fly Home from Crete

We will arrange a flight for you from Crete to Athens to connect to your flight from Athens. However, if you would like more time in Athens we’ll be happy to make arrangements for you.

It's been an incredible trip. You've explored iconic cities… experienced legends… indulged in famous local wines… and savored local specialties. And the biggest reason we made this trip, we discovered one-of-a-kind investment opportunities… hidden to the men behind desks on Wall Street.

You island hopped on speedboats… walked on black sand beaches… breakfasted on volcanoes… saw 3,500-year old art.

And learned about making profits in these markets, tax credits, and special laws for foreign investors.

Athens… Crete… Ruins… Tombs… Opportunity… Adventure…

You toured properties in Santorini, Crete, Mykonos, and Athens… all areas rich with bargains - if you know where to look.

And you met with the management of one of my favorite companies… a luxury hotel developer whose stock is selling at a 60% discount!

This is how a trip to one of the world's most beautiful destinations should be…

I wish I could describe for you everything that's happening on this tour but there is just too much to list. The hotels, the food, the sites, the opportunities… this is a tour you’ll be telling your friends about for decades.

But this is just a taste of what we're experiencing in June.
